Educational qualfication
- Librarian (Deputation): Master’s degree in Library Science and a Ph.D., with at least 15 years of experience in the field.
- Chief Security Officer: Master’s degree along with 15 years of experience in security or related roles.
- Deputy Registrar: Master’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in administrative or academic positions.
- Technical Officer: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, with 5 to 8 years of experience in handling medical equipment or similar work.
- Assistant Registrar: Master’s degree with 8 years of experience in administration, accounts, or establishment-related work.
- Junior Technical Superintendent: Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology with 5 years of relevant experience.
- Junior Superintendent: Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience in administration.
- Junior Assistant: Bachelor’s degree with good computer knowledge.
Age limit
- Librarian (Deputation): 50 years
- Chief Security Officer: 50 years
- Deputy Registrar: 50 years
- Technical Officer: 45 years
- Assistant Registrar: 45 years
- Junior Technical Superintendent: 32 years
- Junior Superintendent: 32 years
- Junior Assistant: 27 year
Selection process
The selection process for IIT Madras Non-Teaching Recruitment 2025 includes a written test to evaluate the candidates’ knowledge in the relevant field. Depending on the job, there might be additional skill tests to check practical abilities. After the written exam, shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview to assess their overall suitability for the position.
